“Margaret Salty’s suite of test-prep materials was a huge part of my pre-exam strategy, and I am so glad I turned to her for help. Her video lessons helped me figure out my plan, and the study guides gave me concise, focused, research-backed materials to use as a basis for my studying. I was also able to test her bank of practice questions, and they helped me feel prepared for the exam. I was so overwhelmed before I found Margaret’s course, but she made the process simple and straightforward. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest research. She is also extremely responsive and open to feedback, so the course is always evolving. I highly recommend Margaret’s course for your exam prep.”

If you’re studying for the September IBCLC exam, this is the deepest help I sell — and the only time all year I bundle it.

You just registered for the September 2026 exam, and the receipt is sitting in your inbox. You’ve started consuming free content and somehow, the more you read, the more confused you get. You don’t need more content. You need someone to tell you what to do first.

If that’s you — keep reading.

Most exam prep gives you more content to memorize. I teach you how to think the way the exam thinks.

The IBCLC exam isn’t a recall test. It’s a reasoning test wearing a recall test’s clothes.

That’s why so many candidates — including high performers in their clinical work — feel blindsided on exam day. They’ve memorized vast amounts of content. They know the WHO Code, the lactogenesis stages, the differential between physiologic and breast-milk jaundice. And then they sit down in front of a clinical scenario where four out of four answers sound technically correct, and they freeze.

The candidates who pass share one thing: they’ve trained themselves to read a question slowly, eliminate the obvious distractors first, and choose between the remaining options on clinical priority instead of memory.

That’s the PASS Framework. Prepare. Analyze. Simplify. Strategize. It’s what I use when I’m walking trainees through real cases in the hospital. And for five days only, it comes bundled with everything else I sell for the IBCLC exam — for the price of a single 1:1 session.

Here’s what you get for $97.

“I’m excited to share I passed with 85%. Your exam prep class was very helpful, reminding me to keep it simple and not over analyze. While I also purchased and utilized LER, Linda Smith, etc… the difference with your course is that it minimized the noise and overwhelm that I felt with the other exam prep programs. So, thank you for doing what you do.”

What you’ll actually walk into the exam knowing.

You’ll know how to read a question stem.

You’ll have a single repeatable process for every question — read twice, identify the verb, eliminate two distractors, choose on clinical priority. Even when you don’t know the content cold, you’ll know how to work toward the right answer.

You’ll know which content is high-yield and which is noise.

You’ll stop trying to memorize every rare clinical scenario. You’ll spend your time on what actually shows up — the lactogenesis stages, the differential between mastitis spectrum conditions, the IBLCE Code of Professional Conduct, the WHO Code, the things that come up over and over in case-based questions.

You’ll know how to use practice questions to actually improve.

Most candidates do practice questions, get a score, and move on. You’ll learn the PASS-style review process that turns every wrong answer into a structural lesson and every right answer into a confirmed pattern.

That’s the difference between studying for the exam and studying the way the exam thinks.

Just wanted to reach out again and say a big THANK YOU for your program! I am so very thankful for all the work you’ve put into this to help us all be successful on our IBCLC exam!

I have a coworker who opted to not take your program and she didn’t pass. She is regretting her decision now. I told her to RUN to the exam mastery program as fast as she can!
PS

A note about who’s teaching this.

I’m Margaret Salty. I’m an IBCLC with 20 years of cross-setting clinical experience — hospital, NICU, an outpatient lactation clinic I founded inside a hospital system, private practice, milk banking, and public health. I hold a doctorate in public health and a master’s degree in public health. I’m an active Pathway 2 instructor mentoring future IBCLCs every week.

My path into lactation began with my fourth baby, who was born critically ill, transferred between two NICUs, and required heart-lung bypass. He couldn’t breastfeed. So I had to pump — a critically ill newborn in the NICU, a mother who had never used a pump, and very little support. That experience shaped everything about how I teach. Not from a textbook. From having lived through what it actually feels like to need this kind of help, urgently, at the worst moment of your life.

I built Lactation Exam Mastery because the existing test prep market wasn’t teaching the way the exam actually thinks — and the candidates I mentor deserved better.

— Margaret

Questions you might have.

How long do I have access?
Lactation Exam Mastery course: lifetime. Exam Mastery Study Guides: lifetime download. Exam Practice Platform: 12 months from purchase date. Both 1:1 sessions must be scheduled and completed by August 31, 2026.
When can I book my two 1:1 sessions?
Booking opens June 1 and runs through August 31. Sessions are 30 minutes each. Use them however you like — one early to set strategy and one closer to exam day, or two back-to-back deep dives. Capped at limited availability.
Is this an ongoing offer or just these 5 days?
Just these 5 days. May 25–29, 2026. After Friday, May 29 at 11:59 PM Central, all four products go back to à la carte pricing for the rest of the year.
Will there be another bundle for the April 2027 exam cycle?
Yes — same window, early January around the next registration opening. If you’re shopping the bundle now and have a partner or a colleague preparing for April 2027, they should wait. (You should not.)
What’s your refund policy?
Because the bundle includes immediate digital access to all four products, I don’t offer refunds on the bundle. If you have any concerns before you buy, email me at hello@margaretsalty.com — I’d rather have the conversation up front than after you’ve downloaded everything.
I have a question that isn’t here.
Email hello@margaretsalty.com. I read everything that comes in.

Five days. $97. Everything I sell for this exam.

The bundle closes Friday, May 29 at 11:59 PM Central. After that, individual prices return.
